With two locations in Chicago (Old Town and Wrigleyville), Happy Camper is one of our favorite spots in the city for ‘za, drinks, and more. Take out is an option, but you’re going to want to eat in here for the *full* experience.
The space itself is a major part of Happy Camper’s appeal. According to the website, the spot boasts “a dining room that’s filled with trailers,” which you can reserve online. Both Chicago locations also offer outdoor and indoor dining in an eclectic space with fun decor. Think swings, disco balls, and string lights.
On the menu, look for an array of unique pizza options. Check out the Matt pie, featuring Canadian bacon, pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, black olives, cheddar, and homemade ranch sauce. Another tasty option is the Ryan, with pulled pork, pineapples, jalapeños, and barbecue sauce. If you’d rather make your own pie, no worries — you can do that, too. Gluten-free crust is available for $3 extra.
Pizza isn’t your only option at Happy Camper. The menu also offers lots of mouthwatering bites like wings, potato skins, and a hummus plate.
