  • 1 client registration per neighborhood only.
    Lincoln Park/Lakeview = one neighborhood. Gold Coast/River North = one neighborhood.

  • To remain eligible for commission, register your client in each neighborhood they plan to visit. If a client schedules or tours an apartment in a neighborhood where they were not registered, commission will not apply for that location.

  • A signed Broker Agreement is required prior to any tours. If you do not have a signed agreement, please email brokerregistration@ppmapartments.com for assistance.

Before You Tour

Gold Coast / River North Neighborhoods

  1. Confirm unit availability on PPM’s
    Real-Time Broker Availability List.
  2. Register and schedule tours by calling (312) 761-8278 or emailing
    brokerregistration@ppmapartments.com.
  3. Provide the following information:

Client Information

  • Name
  • Email address(es) and phone number(s)
  • Move-in date
  • Number of bedrooms
  • Budget
  • Lease term length
  • Client’s must-haves
  • Parking (if applicable)
  • Pets (if applicable)

Broker Information

  • Realty group
  • Phone number and email address

Additional Policies

  • All broker tours must be accompanied by a PPM employee.
  • Access model apartment unit numbers and video links.
  • Current or former PPM residents and prospects registered with a PPM agent are not eligible for broker commission.
  • For apartment access, show your business card and valid ID.
  • After registering your client, coordinate all tours, cancellations, or reschedules with your assigned PPM agent.

Additional Policies

Building Access

  • Lakeview / Lincoln Park buildings: Pick up keys at 806 W Belmont — 773-296-4035
  • 3130 N Lake Shore Drive: Check in with office staff on the 2nd floor — 773-929-1787

After You Tour

  • Lakeview buildings: Return building key(s) to 806 W Belmont.
    After hours, place key(s) in the mail slot.
  • Direct your client to complete the

    PPM Rental Application
    .

    • For Leasing Agent, select “Broker Self Guided Tour.”
    • For How did you hear about us?, select “Outside Agency.”
  • After the application is submitted, email
    brokerapps@ppmapartments.com with:

    • Client name(s)
    • Apartment building and unit applied for
    • Expected move-in date
    • Quoted price or concession
    • Pets (if applicable)
    • Your contact phone and email
  • A PPM team member will contact you with next steps.
  • Application & Administrative Fees (per applicant):
    • $75 application fee
    • $300 admin fee — Lakeview/Lincoln Park studios
    • $400 admin fee — Lakeview/Lincoln Park one- and two-bedroom apartments
    • $450 admin fee — Gold Coast apartments
    • Fees are paid through the PPM payment system. A PPM team member will provide the account ID after the application is submitted.

  • No need to send an invoice or wait for payment – Your client will pay you directly
  • Client pays your brokerage first month’s rent
  • Provide our team with proof of first month being paid to you in the form of a receipt. (*Required for PPM to execute Lease*)
