We’re not sure if it’s the Luck ‘O the Chi-Rish that made St. Patrick’s Day a multi-weekend extravaganza, but Chicago is perfectly content having two full weekends of kelly green. Here’s our pick of of weekend #1 (St. Patty’s Day warmup weekend) events going on in PPM neighborhoods.

Unofficial in Chicago (N Clark St, Wrigleyville) – We swear there’s a pub crawl in Wrigleyville every other weekend, and we think that’s wonderful. This weekend brings Unofficial (as in Unofficial St. Patricks Day) Pub Crawl. $20 gets you a t-shirt, breakfast buffet, and access to specials at all of the bars on the list, including Casey Moran’s, Red Ivy, Barleycorn and others.

South Side Irish Parade Bus Trip (Durkins @ 810 W. Diversey) – Sunday Funday just got a little funner. Durkins is offering a $10 bus ride to and from the infamous Southside Irish Parade. Bus leaves @ 10 am and the parade is at 11. If you go, do your best to be nice to the Sox fans.
