Spring has officially arrived in Chicago. The daylight hours are getting longer, temperatures are near perfect, and signs of new life are budding all around the city.
Whether you’re new to Chicago or have been here for years, we thought we’d share some of our favorite views and neighborhood hot spots to see the beauty of spring on display throughout the city.
Beautiful blossoms are budding along LaSalle in Chicago’s historic Gold Coast/Old Town neighborhood.
Beautiful tulips are in full bloom in Lincoln Park near the Conservatory. They are sure sign that spring has sprung!
More tulips can be found near the entrance of the Lincoln Park Zoo. And, with most of the animals coming out of winter hibernation, it’s the perfect time to walk through the zoo! Admission is always free!
Take a walk along the lakefront path and see sweeping city views, look out onto the waters of Lake Michigan, and take in all the beautiful sights from both nature and the grandeur of the city of skyline.
Just steps away from Michigan Avenue and PPM’s Gold Coast highrises, Oak Street Beach is in full bloom and will soon be the epicenter of summertime beach fun at Lake Michigan.
Who knew a walk through Old Town could be so beautiful? Flowers are in full bloom all throughout the neighborhood. Stop and smell the roses and other beautiful flowers in full bloom.
North LaSalle is breathtaking this time of the year! The view from the street is beautiful and the view from the rooftops of 1000 and 1120 North LaSalle is even better. Rooftop decks are open for the season and pools will be opening soon!
The North Pond in Lincoln Park offers scenic views of Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood and nearby Magnificent Mile.
State Street offers another beautiful stroll filled with beautiful architecture and spring blossoms.
