Simple Ways to Give Your Chicago Apartment a Spring Facelift

Spring is here.  And with the surprisingly warm weather, Chicago couldn’t have asked for a nicer start to one of our four favorite seasons.  But with winter weather behind us, it’s time to give your apartment a spring facelift to match.  To help, we came up with 4 quick, easy and cheap ways to help brighten your apartment this spring.

1.)    Get Some Flowers – A fresh cut bouquet from the nearest florist or grocery store looks great and gives your apartment a fresh clean aroma.

2.)    Declutter – Organizing makes your pad look and feel healthier and more vibrant.  To keep from getting overwhelmed, do one room at a time.  And if you don’t know how to start, here are some tips from our friends at Seamless Organizing.

3.)    Paint – One of the great things about PPM is that you can paint your walls any way you like.  An accent wall in a spring color adds style, vibrancy, and flair.

4.)    Accessorize – Get some fun dinnerware in spring colors.  Or, hang a shower curtain and bath towels with a spring theme.  Also, throw pillows are an easy and instant way to change the mood of a room.

  1. Let’s do a short checklist:
What did I do so far:
    1. I got some fresh eastern flowers… check
    2. Declutter… check
    3. Well, painting is something that really needs to be done… no check
    4. No spring dinner wear.
It seems that I gotta catch up with some of your tips. Thanks!
