We are always looking for a quick affordable lunch made with fresh ingredients in our PPM neighborhoods and we found the perfect place on Clayborne in Lincoln Park in the old Franks N’ Dawgs space. We walked into a super clean welcoming space with very enthusiastic counter help that were excited to help us! OMG!!!!! The menu is great – complete with healthy and vegetarian options!
You can tell they use local farms for their beef and veggies! Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly! It’s a small business!!!! (We always try to support our local small businesses) 2. They use local farms and really care about the food they are putting out!!!! We will be back! And soon!!!!! They are locals who are know giving back to their community by putting out great farm raised foods! Check it out!
Here is what we had:
Made with hickory smoked bacon, romaine, roma tomatoes, avocado mayo, and sourdough.
Braised Pork Loin
Made with fried green tomato, broccoli slaw, smoked gouda, red onion roll – both were excellent!
Both of our sandwiches were delicious, huge, and made with super fresh ingredients! Both of us only ate half and made another meal out of the other half! The hand cut fries were awesome! If you are looking for a generous sald made with local fresh ingredients, hurry over to Sandwiched on Clayborne in Lincoln Park – chances are you will have enough left for dinner!
