Public House Brunch In River North

Public House, located @ 400 N. State is a River North staple.
With 100 beer selections, beer aficionados will pledge their allegiance to Public House, a 10,000 square foot beer-lovers paradise featuring beloved American fare with an upscale twist, unprecedented multimedia capabilities, and mouth watering libations.
We were super excited to learn Public House is now serving BRUNCH!
We worried we would have to wait when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon around noon (in the middle of college football season) – but our hostess found us a corner table in the bar – perfect for people watching the big game!
The recipe is a good brunch is to balance between tasty breakfast and lunch items – we say Public House found the BALANCE!
The skillet was awesome with crunchy fresh vegetables and perfectly seasoned potatoes. The topped over easy eggs were cooked to perfection. Overall it was very satisfying!

The P-House burger is a great burger from one of Chicago’s most popular bars. USDA Prime Beef, Hooks 3-year cheddar, lettuce, tomato, red onion, lemon-black pepper aioli, Hawaiian sesame bun. The first thing you will notice about this burger is its very deep beef flavor and the complimentary flavor of the aioli.

The flavorful beef and the tender bun work together very well. The creamy cheddar cheese compliments the premium tomato, lettuce, pickle and onion show that attention to detail was considered to make this a Chicago Classic!

“If you go to the Public House, you need to try their Mac-N-Cheese.” The mac and cheese was yummy, with creamy cheese. You can add tons of toppings like pulled chicken, scallions, chicken chili, etc.
We have all been to Public House for a night out – now you MUST go fro brunch!
