So in keeping with our top FIVE list, this week were going to focus on our top FIVE most anticipated restaurants of spring 2017. Ranging from BBQ to Vietnamese were sure this list will give you at least on new place to look forward to and hopefully try this springtime. Without further ado, let’s dig in!
East Asian food is in and this place is no exception. Chef Thai Dang aims to bring some of the best Vietnamese BBQ to Chicago this spring. You can find HaiSous at 1800 S. Carpenter St.
Mi Tocaya Antojería
A brand new Mexican spot in Logan Square taking over the Catalpa Kitchen space. You can expect to find some Midwest Mexican style cooking. Located at 2800 W. Logan Blvd.
Otto Mezzo Bar
Rockit Ranch Productions and Hickey are transforming the Ay Chiwowa space into a late-night Italian cocktail bar. If you’re looking for a place to stop in for a drink, this is your spot! Located at 311 W. Chicago Ave.
This massive 10,000 square foot restaurant includes 2 bars, dining, and private event space. Inspired by restaurants along Hollywood’s Sunset Boulevard during the ‘50s. This is a must checkout spot!
The Fifty/50 Restaurant Group
One of the city’s best mixologists is hitting the Dana Hotel. Benjamin Schiller new bar will be located on the hotel’s second floor. Also the former Vertigo Sky Lounge is being remodeled and will specialize in large, sharable drinks! This is a great pair after having a fantastic meal in the city.
