Crock-Pots are lifesavers during busy work weeks, but they’re actually good for more than just soups and stews. Did you know you can make hot cocoa in your Crock-Pot? Well, you can, and it’s delicious, too. This recipe is an excellent alternative to stove-top or microwave cocoa methods that only yield enough for a few servings at most at a time. You can batch 6-8 servings of smooth, chocolatey goodness with this “magical” Crock-Pot version. Check it out below, and try it out tonight to get a cozy start to your holiday weekend. Happy sipping.
6 cups milk
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 14 oz can condensed milk (sweetened)
2 cups chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions: Stir cream, milk, chocolate chips, and vanilla into Crock-Pot. Cover, then cook on low for 2 hours. Stir until mixture is hot and chocolate is melted, then switch the heat setting to warm. Serve with chocolate syrup and whipped cream or marshmallows.
