Our Clothing Drive to Fight Epilepsy – PPM Chicago Apartments

We Want Your Clothes

PPM Chicago apartments’ recently collected a (literal) ton of clothing to help fight epilepsy, and now we’re at it again.  We have paired with the Friends of Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago to collect used clothing, which will then used to help provide programs and services for over 130,000 area residents affected by epilepsy.

Collection bins will be at these Chicago apartment buildings from June 15th to June 29th:

  • 536 W. Addison
  • 350 W. Oakdale
  • 1120 N. LaSalle

We will take clothing of ANY type and in ANY condition:

  • Shirts
  • Shoes
  • Belts
  • Pants
  • Coats
  • Bags and purses
  • Children’s clothing

Other acceptable items include:

  • towels
  • linens
  • decorative pillows
  • blankets

Through the clothing drive we hope to collect another ton (or two or three) of clothing.  Also, any of PPM Chicago apartment residents are welcome to come and drop of clothing items.  And lastly, thank you in advance for making a difference to over 130,000 area residents affected by epilepsy.

The Friends of Epilepsy Foundation will also take part in Lincoln Park Recycling Drive on Saturday, June 23rd.  There they will be accepting all of the clothing items listed above.  Plus, on-site there will be plastic, paper and electronic recycling, and a free paper-shredding service.  The drive is from 9am-12pm at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, located at 2430 N. Cannon Dr.
