Are you in it for the game, the commercials, or the halftime show?
No matter how you answered the question above, you won’t be disappointed this Super Bowl Sunday. Here’s some fun facts that explain why.
- The Giants take on the Patriots. In 2008, the last time that happened, 97.5 million people watched. It’s the third most viewed telecast in United States history.
- Madonna headlines the halftime show along with Nikki Minaj, M.I.A., and Cirque du Soliel. Madonna is the highest selling female artist of all time and has won a total of 220 awards in music and film.
- 3.5 million dollars – That’s the cost of one 30 second commercial on NBC during the game. That’s35x the average primetime commercial.
And another fun fact we have for you is that there are some gameday specials at some of our favorite spots in the Gold Coast, Lincoln Park, and Lakeview. They are listed below, broken down by PPM neighborhood.
