Last Music Festivals of the Summer
The end of summer is approaching and with that comes the end of many music festivals.
With Lollapalooza behind us, we only have a few more festivals until next summer!
You don’t want to miss these last festivals, trust us!
Here are the last few festivals you should see before 2017.
While Ravinia isn’t a weekend music festival, they offer shows every day of the week. This outdoor venue located in Highland Park is a great place to set up a picnic and listen to live music.
Riot Fest is a 3-day festival and carnival with headliners such as Fitz and the Tantrums and Death Cab for Cutie. The carnival rides are paid for per ride. Stop by Douglas Park on September 16th to 18th to see these bands and more!
This music festival is located in Union Park for 3-days of rock, hip-hop, DJ’s and more on September 2nd to 4th. Some of their performers include Grouplove, Logic and Zedd.
The Chicago Jazz Festival is over Labor Day weekend and has occurred annually since 1979. The festival is free to all ages and is conveniently located in Millennium Park. Chicago Jazz Festival aims to expose new audience members to all types of Jazz while also welcoming Chicago’s jazz fans.
