Hey Chicago, Whaddya Say?

It’s a great time to be a Chicago sports fan!  The Blackhawks will have a chance to defend their Stanley Cup title after all, the Bulls have already clinched the #1 seed in the East and still have a chance for home court advantage throughout the NBA playoffs, and the spring seasons are in full swing for both the Cubs and the White Sox.
The rest of April will be chock full of Chicago sports action, and no matter where you come from, it’s impossible not to get caught up in the excitement of our local sports teams.  Here’s the lowdown on what’s coming up in the Chicago sports world in the next few weeks:
Chicago Blackhawks (42-29-9)
The Blackhawks have a tough task ahead of them as they meet the Vancouver Canucks in the first round of the NHL playoffs.  While the Blackhawks have eliminated the Canucks from the playoffs the past two years in a row, this year the Canucks are the #1 overall seed in the NHL, and are seeking some serious revenge against Toews & Co.  The series kicks off tonight in Vancouver at 9pm CDT.  The Blackhawks will host games 3 & 4 of the series on Sunday April 17, and Tuesday April 19, both at 7pm CDT. Chicago Bulls (61-20)
The Bulls finish up their regular season tonight against the New Jersey Nets.  The Bulls can still clinch home field advantage throughout the playoffs with a win tonight and a loss by the San Antonio Spurs.   They’ll kick off their run for their first NBA title since the Michael Jordan era against the Indiana Pacers on Saturday at noon at the United Center.  Playoff ticket info can be found at http://www.nba.com/bulls/tickets.
Chicago White Sox (7-5)
The White Sox finish up their California homestand with a 3 game series at against the Los Angeles Angels this weekend at US Cellular field.  Great seats are still available at http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/ticketing.
Chicago Cubs (5-6)
The Chicago Cubs will finish up their road trip with a 3 game series against the Colorado Rockies, and will return to Wrigley for a 9 game homestand starting Monday, April 18 vs. the San Diego Padres.  Tickets are available at http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/ticketing, or check http://www.stubhub.com/wrigley-field-tickets/ for seats as low as $2 a pop for the weekday games!
