We know green juice isn’t the “cure all” it was toked up to be a few years back. But, that doesn’t take away from the fact that raw veggies and fruits are nutrient-rich, and juicing them makes it easier to consume a large amount all at once. Plus, green foods are believed to be some of the best foods for your body. So really, you have nothing to lose.
We don’t refer to this as a “detox drink” because that wouldn’t be truthful. But drinking this yummy juice is a good way to hit the restart button for both body and mind after a weekend of indulgence. Here’s the only green juice recipe you need.
Green Juice Recipe:
2 large apples
3 kale leaves (stems on)
3 handfuls of spinach
1-inch piece of ginger
To make: Follow the instructions on your juicer. Typically, it’ll be as easy as adding these ingredients and letting the juicer do its magic.
