This holiday season, don’t be a Grinch! Help PPM give back to two great causes in our community!
Over the weekend we kicked off our annual food drive to benefit the Lakeview Pantry. The Lakeview Pantry has served residents in the Lakeview community for over 40 years, seeking to eliminate hunger and poverty. Your donations made to our food drive will go directly to families in need this Christmas.
PPM residents provide the single largest donation received by the Lakeview Pantry each year, so please open your hearts and donate — the need is great this year.
Suggested donation items include:
- peanut butter & jelly
- whole grain products [cereal and pasta]
- canned tuna
- canned meat
- canned beans
- canned vegetables
- canned fruit in juice
- low sodium soup
- toothbrushes and toothpaste
- vegetable juice/V-8
- any other non-perishable, non-expired food items
Collection bins are located in the lobbies of all 28 PPM buildings and our offices at 806 W Belmont, 1333 N Kingsbury, and 507 W Diversey.
A prize will be awarded to the building that collects the most food! Donations are being accepted now through December 15.
And, don’t forget our clothing drive to benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago — donations are being accepted at 544 W Melrose, 1120 N LaSalle, and 1133 N Dearborn now through December 10. Or, if you have a donation and live in another PPM building, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a pick-up. More information here.
