Honey, Cinnamon, Lemon Face Mask
This face mask can help ease inflammation. Just be careful not to overdo it with the cinnamon or lemon juice. Both can be beneficial to skin in small doses but may irritate it if overused.
2 tbsp honey
Juice from 1 slice lemon
1 tsp cinnamon
Mix ingredients together, then apply to face, avoiding eye and mouth areas. Leave on for 15 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water.
Honey Banana Face Mask
This one’s great for giving your skin a bright, healthy flow. It’s gentle so it can work for any skin type.
1 tbsp orange juice
1 tbsp honey
Mash banana in a bowl before adding in orange juice and honey. Apply to face, avoiding eyes and mouth. Let it sit for 15 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water.
Like honey, avocados are packed with skin-boosting benefits like vitamin C, fatty acids, and antioxidants. This mask also includes yogurt which contains the exfoliating ingredient lactic acid.
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp plain yogurt
Combine ingredients in a bowl and mash together. Apply to face. Let sit for 15 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water.
